These men's haori are more exclusively used for wearing (by men and women even though they are made for men). Some of these will feature extraordinary weaving techniques and will offer themselves nicely to crafters who are attempting to make things which call for such applications. These male hoari are also great pieces for theater, and costuming. They can also be used for interior decorating in spaces which require a piece of shorter length. Some of these pieces are shown inside out to feature the decorative linings and are often worn and hung in this fashion.
Please note that the task of finding men's kimono is not easy. They are hard to come by because men are
men the world over. They hate shopping for clothes and when they do find somethign they like, they wear it until it's dead. This makes the number of men's pieces produced rather small compared to women's pieces and the number of surviving vintage pieces even smaller.
Wearers note: If you absolutely love a piece and it is too short in length, a pair of hakama hide this perfectly.
